Peace, Dolly Paul. The significance of Sea TurtlesSea turtles (actually all turtles) are important to Low Country Studios. They are frequent visitors to the beaches of Charleston and the Low Country. The shell of a turtle represents heaven and the underside earth. A symbol of the turtle has long been seen as an invitation for the blessings of both heaven and earth. Turtles hear well and the study of them awakens senses on both spiritual and physical levels. Eternal life, the gift of Christ to us, is also brought to our remembrance through the longevity of the turtle.
