"I
am thoroughly convinced that one of the best things we can
do for our children is to have them begin life with smoothly
functioning craniosacral systems a removal of physical restrictions
so their body tissues aren't burdened by destructive or traumatic
memories, and very clean energy fields. This can all be accomplished
in a very short time within the first few days of life."

CranioSacral
Therapy for Children and Adults
CranioSacral
Therapy (CST) is a gentle and non-invasive hands-on-technique
which provides and encourages the body's natural ability to
create homeostasis.
Your
heart has a rhythm, your breath has a rhythm and your spine
has a rhythm. CranioSacral Therapy works by using your body's
spinal rhythm.
CST
often provides a spontaneous release of old physical or psychic
trauma stored in the body. Therapy is provided with the recipient
lying comfortably on their back upon a massage table. The
client remains clothed.
Paul
is moving her practice forward to focus on CST benefits for
children. A typical session takes place in a quiet setting
with the child resting at ease on a massage table. Using a
light touch - generally no more than the weight of a nickel
- Paul monitors the rhythm of the fluid that is flowing around
the central nervous system to detect potential problems. Delicate
hands-on techniques are then used to release any tensions
that may be affecting your child's brain and spinal cord.
A
session for a child can last from 15 minutes to more than
an hour. The result is a central nervous system free of restrictions
and a body that is able to return to its greatest levels of
health and performance.
In
adults CST often provides relief in conditions of stress,
headache, low back pain, TJM pain, eye and ear problems, depressions,
whiplash injury, accidental trauma that won't go away, jet
lag and influences the function of the nervous, musculoskeletal,
vascular, lymphatic, endocrine and respiratory systems of
the body.
Licensed
massage therapist Dolly Paul has been in practice for over
25 years. She earned National Certification in 1993 and has
studied and practiced in numerous therapies. Ms. Paul earned
her certificates in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger
Institute.
